Betty Audrey Roles

Betty Audrey Roles, 81, of Chesapeake, VA passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014. Born August 17, 1932 in Bermuda she was the daughter of the late Eric Thomas and Emma Audrey Gibbons Hookings. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Roles and a brother, Buster Gibbons.
Betty was a retired cashier having worked for Giant Open Air/ Farm Fresh in Tidewater, VA.
She is survived by her children, James Roles and wife Kaye of Athens, GA, Sherry Short and husband Bobby of Galax, VA, Terry Leutkenhaus and husband Rick of Old Monroe, MO, Audrey Porter and husband Jim of Fisherville, VA, Jack Roles and wife Terri of Lester, WV, Mae Roles of Beckley, WV and Ramona Wilkes and husband Chris of Chesapeake, VA; 19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel. Committal service and burial will follow in the Shumate Cemetery at Saulsville, WV.
