Annetta Allen

Annetta “Blackburn” Allen of Fayette Co., formerly of Stanaford, WV entered eternal rest on May 25, 2023 at the young age of 79. 

Born in Layland WV, she was the daughter of Agnes “Verna” Blackburn and Leonard Blackburn Sr. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her only daughter Edwina Allen-Ivey, “Wendy”; 3 brothers Donnie, Leonard Jr. and Mack; 3 sisters, Ida, Fannie, and Fern. 

Those left to cherish her, a sister, Alice Harrah and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Services will be 1 pm Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum B with Pastor Vondie Cook, II officiating. Burial will follow. 

The family would like to extend thanks and gratitude to the hospice staff and the staff at Hidden Valley Nursing Facility.
