Alvin Chambers

After graduation from high school, Mr. Chambers entered Beckley College for 1 1/2 years. He later entered the military and served with the U.S. Army in Okinawa. He was a member of the Army Security Agency. After his military service, he entered Marshall College and graduated with a BA degree in 1959. He joined his father at Ashland Oil and continued to work in the oil bilk plant business until the present. He was the general manager of Chambers Oil Company. Mr. Chambers was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Dean Chambers.
