Alma passed away in the early morning hours on Monday, April 6, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

She was a graduate from Sophia High School, earned her teaching degree while attending Concord University. Alma was a member of the Beta Sigma Fi Sorority, was a beloved Charter member of Sophia United Methodist Church. She was a second grade school teacher for 34 years, teaching at Tams Elementary, Sophia Elementary, and then ended her career at Sophia- Soak Creek Elementary, she was an avid golfer and bowler, competing in various leagues and tournaments, loved spending time with her family, traveling, and just being outside in general. Alma loved collecting bells and jewelry from her travels or from her family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents James and Francis Deck, her husband "Bob" Cirer, her sister Ava Lou Kincaid, and her daughter Nannette "Nan" Holloway. She is survived by her daughter Mary "Francy" Bias and her husband James "Jim" Bias, son-in-law, Ed Holloway, 3 grandsons, 5 great grandchildren and numerous other friends and family. 

Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Rumberg officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service
