Warren Allen Mills

Warren Allen Mills, 67, of Crab Orchard, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 in Huntington. Born September 15, 1950 in Slab Fork he was the son of the late Montgomery (Dodd) and Ruth Mae Mills. Besides his parents Warren was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Ann Mills.

Warren was a coal miner and mine inspector for the UMWA for many years. He was a member of the Crab Orchard Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of over 47 years, Wilma Jean Mills; daughter, Nora Greer and her husband James of Crab Orchard; sons, Warren Allen Mills, II (Brother) of Crab Orchard and Casey Earl Mills of Buckhannon ; grandchildren, Coleen Parsons, Kristyn Jenkins, Samuel Greer, Jared Fliss, Jonah Mills, Caleb Mills and Brooklyn Mills; great-grandchildren, Tristan, Aiden, Ella and Noah Parsons; sister, Trudy Smith and her husband Herman; brothers, Joe Mills and his wife He`n and Curtis Mills and his wife Trish along with numerous other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Calfee Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Sisson officiating. Friends may gather with the family 2 hours prior to the service. Following Warren’s wishes he will be cremated after the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in memory of Warren to Crab Orchard Baptist Church Backpack Blessings Fund, 1501 Robert C Byrd Dr, Crab Orchard, WV 25827.
