Virginia Sue Ginny Allison

Virginia Sue Allison, 50, of Beckley, passed away Tuesday June 3, 2011 at her home. Born April 17, 1961 in Beckley, Ginny was the daughter of Charles Edward Cassity and the late Sharon Jeanette Goodman Cassity.
Ginny was a long time resident of Beckley. From 1992 to 2002, she worked as legal secretary for Tracy Ward in Dalton, GA and attended Mt. Rachel Baptist Church where she was saved and baptised.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother Charles E. “Chuck” Cassity; maternal grandparents Stewart and Erma Goodman; and paternal grandfather Charley Cassity.
In addition to her father, she is survived by one daughter, Amanda Allison and husband Lee of Beaver; grandchildren Tyler Lee Edward Gooslin, Alexis Jeanette Gooslin; sister Laura Tocado of Salem, OH; step-sons Dustin Craig Allison and Billy Joe Allison; aunts Marcy Lilly, Patti Shirkey, and Carol Scott; best friends Donna Atkins and Pitty Pat Klause and numerous other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday June 6, 2011 at Calfee Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Lee Gooslin, Matthew Lilly, Dustin Allison, Andrew Blevins, and Michael Avant.
