Tiny Emogene Manning

Tiny Emogene (Foley) Manning, 90, of Beckley, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010, at the Bowers Hospice House. Born April 12, 1920, she was the daughter of the late George T. and Lora Dodd Foley. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in Shady Spring.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Manning, and one brother, Ralph Foley.
Survivors include her two sons, Wayne Manning and his wife Janet of Auburn, CA, and Jerry Manning and his wife Lucy-Jane of Bluefield, WV; her daughter, Karen Thompson of Beckley; two sisters, Juanita Puckett and her husband Jim of Richmond, VA, and Elva McMillion and her husband Buddy of Amherst, VA; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m.Friday, June 25, 2010, at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Chapel of Faith with the Rev. Keith Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Mausoleum Friday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Manning, Wayne Manning, Jim Puckett, Buddy McMillion, Nathan Thompson, and Bob Slaven.
