Thomas David Stover, Sr.

Thomas D. Stover, Sr., 71, of Glen Daniel, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014.
2 Corinthians 5:8 – To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Born July 1, 1943 in Beckley, he was the son of the lat Horace and Maxine Pettry Stover. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Iris Stover.
Tommy was a devoted husband, dad, brother and friend. He liked collecting model cars. He loved old movies and sharing stories about his life.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Thomas Stover, Jr.; grandson, Douglas French and his wife Samantha; great grandson, Mason; brothers, Jimmy Stover and his wife Helen, Joe Stover and his wife Lisa and Harry Stover and his wife Jane.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2014 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Belcher officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services on Thursday.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
