Gunnery Sergeant Terrance Anthony Gober, II, 35 of Beckley passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
Born January 2, 1984 in Kansas City, MO, he was the son of Terrance Anthony Gober and Robin Denham.
Terrance was a 17 year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp enlisting out of high school. He served 4 combat tours and was presently serving as a recruiter. He was active in Toys for Tots and loved racing motorcycles.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Destiny Dawn Rose Gober; son, Terrance Anthony Gober, III; sisters, Melinda Nolting of Bonner Springs, KS, Makayla Gober of Perry, KS; brothers, Shane Gober of Tonganoxie, KS, Justin Gladman of Ottawa, KS and his grandmother, Judith Tryon of Kansas City, KS.
A celebrant of Terrance’s life will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Beckley MEPS, 409 Wood Mountain Rd, Glen Jean, WV.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Terrance’s name be made to the charity of your choice.
