Shirley Ann Fondale

Mrs. Shirley Ann Fondale, 77, of Beckley, WV passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 at her home.

A celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church with Very Rev. Father Paul Wharton, V.F. officiating. A Rite of Committal will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Fondale was a member of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church. She was Miss Southern WV in 1959 and was a member of the Tuesday Morning Ladies Bowling League in Beckley. She enjoyed crafts and gardening.

Mrs. Fondale was born January 15, 1940 in Layland, WV. She was the daughter of the late Orville and Nancy Carter Bryant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Jack Bryant and Ronnie Bryant.

Mrs. Fondale is survived by her husband, Phillip Fondale, Jr.; son, Phillip Fondale, II of Daniels, WV; daughter, Phyllis Fondale of Charlotte, NC; grandsons, Phillip Zachary Fondale and Seth Austin Fondale.; sisters, Naomi Slaybaugh of Jacksonville, FL, Nora Godfrey of Raleigh, NC, Mary Withrow of Huntington, WV, brother, Orville Bryant of Beckley.
