Sherri Loraine Hosey

Sherri Loraine (Miller) Hosey, 48, of Lester, WV passed away suddenly at her home on February, 12 2020.
She was born on October 24, 1971 in Beckley, WV to Lemuel Cohen Miller Jr. and the late Nancy Carol Miller. In addition to her mother, Sherri was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lemuel C. Miller Sr. and Audrey E. Miller, and maternal grandparents Garland Cook and Nina Cook. She is survived by her husband, Steve Hosey of Lester; sons Aaron Kyle Cox (Sydni) of Lester, Evan Wade Cox (Mary) of Lester; stepson Michael Hosey of Lester; grandchildren Aliyah Lynn Cox, Olivia Rae Cox, and Johnny; sisters Lisa Carol Short (Ron) of Corinne, Lori Lynn Terry (Jason) of Martinsville, VA; special niece and nephew, Tess Carol Severt and Trey Michael Severt of Martinsville, Va. Along with several other nieces and nephews.
Sherri attended Liberty High School and worked in customer service for several years. Besides spending time with her family and friends, Sherri enjoyed painting, drawing, crocheting, and had a passion for Horror Films. Sherri’s greatest accomplishments were her two boys, Aaron and Evan, who she loved dearly.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate the life of Sherri at the Calfee Funeral Home on Sunday February 16th, 2020. Family will gather at 11:30 am. Visitation will be 12pm-2pm. Funeral Services will follow at Calfee at 2pm with Pastor Jason Moore officiating. Sherri will be laid to rest at the Cook Family Cemetery in Otsego.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Cox, Evan Cox, Michael Hosey, Tess Severt, Daniel McMasters, and Josh Bradford.
