Sharon Albertine Meador, 66, of Beckley, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016.
Born June 2, 1950 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Basil and Albertine Harvey Meador.
Sharon was a teacher for the Raleigh County Board of Education. She was a 1968 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and a proud graduate of Marshall University. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Beckley for many years where she did signing for the hearing impaired. She loved to volunteer her time to help others.
In addition to her parents Sharon was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Meador.
Survivors include her brother, Andrew Meador and his wife Karen of Murfeesboro, TN; nephew, Noah Meador of Murfeesboro, TN and a niece, Grace Emily Meador of Murfeesboro, TN.
Service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doc Adkins officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 1-3 p.m. Saturday.
