Sadie Reed McKinney

Sadie Reed McKinney, 89, of Beckley, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Bowers Hospice House. Born May 3, 1920 at Amigo, WV, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Virginia Elizabeth Graham Reed. Sadie was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard and sons, Howard, II and John McKinney.
Survivors include her sister, Hester Evans of Raonake, VA, 3 grandchildren, daughters-in-law; Brenda and Wilma McKinney.
Friends may call at the Calfee Funeral Home, Beckley at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009. Graveside rites and burial will be 2:30 p.m.. Saturday at the Ashworth Cemetery, Ghent, WV, with Howie McKinney officiating.
