Rose Bash McGraw

Rose Bash McGraw, 88, of McGraws, WV, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Bowers Hospice House following a brief illness. Born May 13, 1921 in Chelsea, MA, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Tillie Kovitz Bash. Rose was a homemaker and a member of Temple Beth El in Beckley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Mark McGraw, son, Dennis Mark McGraw, Jr., sisters; Sylvia Vandermolen, Terri Winston and brother, Milton Bash.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Covitz of Richmond, VA, sons; Jerald McGraw and his wife Linda of Berkley Springs, WV, David R. McGraw and his wife Debra of Jacksonville, FL, grandchildren; Wyatt, Peter, Karen, Daniel, Dennis, Heather and David, eight great-grandchildren, sisters; Ellie Berkowitz of Boston, MA and Julie Lavine of Boca Raton, FL.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2009 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Joseph Golden officiating.
Friends may visit with the family from 11:30 a.m. until service time on Sunday.
