Ronald D. Bonar, 65 of Amigo joined the Angels in Heaven on January 26th after a short battle with cancer.
Born on January 31, 1948 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Clifford L. and Lillie Mae Graham Bonar.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 44 years, Phyllis; daughter, Ginger Smith and husband Kenny of Rhodell; two granddaughters, Brandi and Kristen Smith whom he loved dearly; one sister, Brenda Lambert of Orlando, FL plus many more family and friends.
Ronnie had a great love for antique and model cars. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Curtis England officiating. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 32 Honor Guard. There will be no visitation.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Muscari, Jr., Archie Sturgill, Robert and Robbie Whitt, Arte Burnette and Frank Woolwine.
