Phillip Gene Williams

Phillip Gene Williams, 57, of Beckley, died Friday, June 12, 2009, at his home surrounded by family members and friends. Born September 28, 1951, in Beckley, he was the son of the late Edward Gene Williams and Sue Carol Simmons. Phillip worked as a Pipe Fitter for the West Virginia Pipe Line, and a lifelong resident of Raleigh County. Survivors include several brothers, Eddie Williams, Joey Williams, and Dennis Williams and his wife Angela, all of Beckley; two sisters, Debbie Gunther and her husband Mike of Sprague, Mary Ann Semenske and her husband Steve of Stanaford; nieces and nephews, Amanda Sue Williams, Jessica Williams, Aaron Gunther, Brian Semenske, and Justin Semenske.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2009, in the Williams Wright Cemetery, Prosperity, with Evangelist Dennis Williams officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
