Patricia Ann Cole

Patricia Ann Reedy Cole, 61, of Beckley, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Beckley VA Medical Center following a long illness. Born January 18, 1950 at Eccles, WV, she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Wanda Jean Brewer Reedy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Reedy.
Patricia was a Sgt. in the Women’s Air Corp. serving with the Sixth Army Division. She was a Cincinnati Reds fan, enjoyed movies and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She attended church services at the VA Chapel.
Survivors include a son, Jason Patrick Cole and wife Teresa of Beckley; daughter, Kelly Jean Weeks and husband Russell of Beckley; grandchildren, Wyatt Alexander Cole, Maggie Weeks, Sara Weeks and Jenna Weeks; sisters, Becky Acord and husband Bucky of Eccles and Janet Charvat and husband Michael of Hopewell, VA; brother, Larry Reedy and wife Barbara of Fairdale.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Chapel of Hope with Chaplain Paul Bricker officiating. There will be no visitation.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Beckley VAMC Recreation Fund, 200 Veterans Dr., Beckley, WV 25801
