Norma T. Larabee

Norma (Boots) Larabee ne Trail of Bradley, WV passed away on December 9, 2016. Boots was born on September 18, 1926 to the late Thomas Henry and Mary Catherine Dunn Trail.

Boots was a graduate of Trap Hill High School and Concord College where she received her teaching degree. Boots taught in various schools in Raleigh and Fayette Counties for 29 years before retiring from Pax Elementary School in 1976. She and her husband, Kenneth, owned and operated the High Point Curb drive-in and Bradley Mobile Home Park and Apartments both in Bradley, WV. Boots was a member of the Lester Church of Christ where she taught children’s Sunday school with her sister, Nola.

Mrs. Larabee was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth Larabee, her brother, Nathan Trail, and her sister, Nola Trail McNicol. She is survived by her nephews, Jack Michael and Mark Gregory McNicol. She is also survived by two grandnieces - Mary Frances McNicol Haynes and Catherine Jane McNicol, two grandnephews – Thomas James McNicol and Isaiah Nicholas McNicol and two great grandnieces – Kylie Lynn Haynes and Azlyn Jane Haynes.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, in Sunset Memorial Park, Mausoleum B.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you do as Boots would do, and share love and kindness with everyone you encounter.
