Norma Jean Willis Lovell

November 19, 1930 — July 20, 2012

Norma Jean Willis Lovell went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 20, 2012. Born November 19, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Giles Lester and Margaret Surber Willis.
Norma graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1948 and attended the old United Methodist Temple church in Beckley throughout her childhood. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her brother, Giles Lester Willis, Jr. (Lefty) and sister, Vona Belle Willis Bender. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Patrick Arnold Lovell on February 10, 2010.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Pamella Ann Lovell Kincaid and husband Larry, of Dry Fork, VA; son, Patrick A. Lovell, II and wife Joyce of Beckley; granddaughter, Crystal Ann Lovell Walters and husband Brad; great grandson, Trent Patrick Walters and great granddaughter, Kinsley Alaina Walters of Tornado, WV; grandson, Patrick Frank Lovell of Daniels, WV; step granddaughter, Stephanie Baldwin and husband Bobby Tobergte; and step great-grandchildren, Alexis and Chandler Jones of Lewisburg, WV.
Norma will be sadly missed by the many friends and relatives who knew and loved her deeply.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Calfee Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. No service is scheduled at the funeral home. A committal service will follow at the Milam Family Cemetery on Posey Saxon Rd. in Arnett, WV. Rev. Randy Adkins of the United Methodist Temple and Elder Ray Clendenin will officiate the committal service. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be brothers-in-law, Bill and Charlie Lovell, nephews, Bill, Chuck, Kenny and Harry Lovell, Jimmy Lovell and close friends, Kenny Christian. Jeff Griffith and Bill Anderson.
The family would like to extend a special thank you and appreciation to the staff at Raleigh Center for all their care, support and love they extended to Norma and the family during the last few months of her life as well as the staff at Bowers Hospice House, they have been wonderful to Norma and her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Dr., Beckley, WV 25801 in memory of Norma Jean. Online condolences may be left at www.calfeefh.com.
