Noah was born in Beckley, July 21, 1924 to the late Vito and Carmela Giradi Salango. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Cindy, brothers Tony and James and by sisters Pauline Severino and Carrie DeLuca.
Noah served in the US Navy and US Air Force. In his younger days he was an avid boxer and won eight golden gloves. He was inducted into the WV Boxing Hall of Fame in 1985.
