Nellie Louise Tolbert,99, of Bloomfield, IN, formerly of Beckley, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 in Bloomfield.
Born December 19, 1915 in Narrows, VA, she was the daughter of the late John and Nannie McClanahan Crawford. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Tolbert and a daughter, Drema Tolbert Way.
Nellie was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Grove Christian Church for over 75 years.
Survivors include her son, Jackie Tolbert and his wife Kathy of Bloomfield, IN; daughter, Gerri Dutka and her husband Leon of Jonesborough, TN; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2015 at Oak Grove Christian Church with her son, Pastor Jackie Tolbert, Jonathan Schwitzerlette and Ken Hawes officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 p.m. until service time Monday at the church. Committal service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Dr., Beckley, WV 25801.
