Nellie Louise McGhee

Nellie Louise McGhee, 88, of Beckley passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019.
Born May 15, 1931 in Helen, WV, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Gladys Mann Blackwell.
Nellie was a member of Northgate Baptist Church. She loved to travel and cook but she most enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry McGhee; son, Mark and sister, Retha Hedgecock.
Survivors include sons, Gary (Cheryl) McGhee of Benbrook, TX and Tim (Regina) McGhee of Daniels, WV; grandchildren, Britney and Phillip; great grandson, Noah; sisters, Wanda Archer, Joyce Ballard, Eva Mattox; brothers, John, Sam and Robert Blackwell.
A private service was held on Friday, June 7, 2019 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Craig Stevens and Troy Rackliffe officiating. Burial followed in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
