Martha Jane Mullins

Martha Jane Mullins was born in Epperly, West Virginia on March 15, 1948. Janie passed away peacefully on February 10, 2009 after battling cancer for over ten years. She died at her home in Chaparral, New Mexico at the age of 60. Janie was a devoted mother and wife, supporting her family and husband through many journeys across the country. Janie’s bravery, strength and positive outlook on life have been an inspiration to everyone who had the good fortune to know her.
Janie is survived by her husband, Esten Randall Mullins and her three children. Her son, Esten Randall Mullins, JR and his wife Debra, two grandsons Matthew and Samuel, son Brian James Mullins and his wife Nanette Hinojos, and daughter Melita Beth Simley and her husband Michael David Simley.
Special thanks to sister Bonnie Ruth Hicks and brother-in-law Larry Robert Hicks and family for all the support through the last 5 months of Janie’s life.
A Graveside Memorial will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Foley-Mills Cemetery in Egeria, West Virginia. Pastor Don Kelly will provide the eulogy.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Children’s Ward of the MD Anderson Cancer Center ,P.O. Box 4486 , Houston, Texas 77210-4486 would be appreciated.
