Mark John McDermott, 47, of Beckley, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013. Born December 27, 1965 in Australia, Mark was the son of Bruce and Carmel Poulsen McDermott. Mark was the owner of Riverina Construction. He attended Living Waters Baptist Church and St. Francis deSales Catholic Church. Mark loved life and his family. He enjoyed traveling.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Johanna Spade McDermott; brother, Scott McDermott and wife Catia; sisters, Tracey McDermott and Nicole Devoy and husband Bill all of Australia; step-son, Donald Dunn of Beckley.
A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Living Waters Baptist Church, 201 Jennings St., Beckley with Pastor Mike Gunnoe officiating.
