Luther Ivan Marshall, Sr., 81 of Stover, Wv passed away Friday, February 17, 2018.
Born March 11, 1936 at Montcoal, WV, he was the son of the late Henry Clinton and Elona Ash Marshall.
Luther was former coal miner for Ranger Fuel. He loved fishing and working on cars.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, William Clinton Marshall; grandson, Sean Musick; brother, Henry Clinton Marshall, Jr. and sisters, Nakoma Miller, Henrietta Murdock and husband George and Naoma Lucas and husband James.
Luther is survived by his wife, Bessie Louise Graybeal Marshall; sons, Luther Ivan Marshall, Jr and his wife Karen of Raleigh, NC, Gregory Lynn Marshall and his wife Karen of Caryville, TN; daughter, Tina Ann Scott and her husband Dana of Dameron, WV; grandchildren, Cassie Marshall, William Corey Marshall, Eric Ivan Musick, Dallas William Scott, Shelby Lynn Humphrey and husband Josh, Matthew Marshall; great-grandchildren, William Alexander Marshall, Jacob Musick, Aleaha Humphrey, Marshall Humphrey; sister, Helen Murdock and husband Fonnice of Dameron, WV.
A celebration of Luther’s life will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Bolt Independent Fundamental Baptist Church with Pastor James Lucas officiating.
