Lucreata Mae Miller

Lucreata Mae Miller, 75 of Hilltop passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Born September 14, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Estel Christian Lawson and Oretha Mae James Lawson and Wilton Gillenwalter.
Lucreata loved to play bingo, go to church and read her Bible. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Franklin Miller; daughters, Linda Asbury, Patricia Wyatt and Theresa Miller; brothers, Clarence Lawson, Tim Lawson and William Lawson; sisters, Glenna Ratliff, Rose Benner, Frankie Kershner and father Wilton Gillenwalter.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons Dillard Lawson and wife Adrienne of Beckley, Michael Gillenwalter and wife Jacqueline of Lester, James Miller of Hilltop, Scott Miller and fianc Megan of Shady Spring; daughters, Betty Gooslin and husband Jackie of Pemberton, Jane Miller and life partner Diana of Johnstown, PA, Rose Johnson and husband Morris of Easton, PA; brothers, Ralph Lawson and wife Trudy of IL, Donald Lawson and wife Bonnie of Bolt; sisters, Janice Wyatt and husband Larry of Lester, Joyce Bailey and husband Tim of Lester, Barbara Gregory and husband Gene of KY and Debbie Yarber and husband Pat of KY; 30 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2010 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ken Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Saturday.
