Leslie Ray Walton, Sr.

Leslie Ray Walton, Sr., 77, of MacArthur, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 following a long illness. Born April 24, 1936 at Pence Springs, WV, he was the son of the late John and Annie Warren Walton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Ray Walton; brother, Jim Walton and by two sisters, Geneva Ellis and Toots Huffman.
Leslie was a retired delivery driver for South Insulation. He was member of Hollywood Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Shelby Jean Hutton Walton; son, Paul Douglas Walton and wife Robin of Crab Orchard; daughter, Kathy Mullins and husband Hurley of Alpoka, WV; grandchildren, Jonathan Walton, Rachel Walton, Stephanie Mullins, Tyler Walton; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Burman Walton and wife Jan of Putnam Co., WV and Charlie Walton and wife Letsie of Covington, VA
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Hollywood Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery at Creamery, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
Family & friends will serve as pallbearers.
