Born June 18, 1932 in Henderson, NC, Leroy was the son of the late Leroy and Lettie Bowen Bowden. He was a retired truck driver for Snyder Transfer Co. and a U. S Army veteran. Leroy had been a resident of Raleigh County for the past 28 years.
Survivors include his daughters; Theresa Ann Bowden and Jewel Yvonne Bick both of Henderson, NC.
