June Wriston Moore, of Fairborn, died of natural causes on June 11, 2012 at Dayspring Care Center in Fairborn.

She was the daughter of Dr. Robert Wriston and Minnie Davis Wriston and was born at her parent’s home on Neville Street in Beckley, W.Va., on July 11, 1915.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Donald Moore, her parents, three sisters, Mary Alice Rizos, Marjorie Wriston File and Martha Vane Wriston and a nephew, Robert G. Rizos.
June graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and Roanoke Business College and worked during World War II for a government agency in Washington, D.C. She worked with her husband for many years in the J.D. Moore Insurance Agency in Fairborn. She was an avid reader and world traveler and was a loyal fan of the Cincinnati Reds. She and her husband attended many games at the old Crosley Field and proudly obtained two seats when the stadium was demolished. She was always interested in the lives of her nieces and nephews and their families and never missed a wedding or graduation.

June is survived by her nieces and nephews, Martha Rizos Stafford of Pollock Pines, Calif., Susan File Payne of Beckley and Charleston, S.C., William H. File III, Robert N. File and John L. File, all of Beckley, W.Va., and eight grandnieces and grandnephews.
She will be interred in Mausoleum A at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley, on Thursday, June 14, 2012, following a private family service.

In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be sent to Beckley Area Foundation, 129 Main Street, Beckley, WV 25801, for the Dr. and Mrs. Robert Wriston – Judge and Mrs. William Henry File Memorial Fund.
