Johnny Allen Smitty Smith

Johnny was a retired heavy equipment operator for Consol and last worked as a ranger for Briar Patch Golf Course. He was a member of the Oak Grove Christian Church, Beckley masonic lodge # 95 A.F. & A.M. and Briar Patch Golf Course. He was an avid fan of WVU, Woodrow Wilson and Marshall. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence L. Smith and his sister, Connie Smith. Johnny's family would like to thank Dr. Lostetter and staff, ARH Home Health, Rick Cornett and Jan Care Ambulance, Kathy at Apria Home Health, all the nurses at Raleigh General Hospital for all their loving care, the members of Oak Grove Christian Church for their prayers, cards and meals and a special thank you to the men of the church who sat with Johnny, special thanks to Brenda Schaphoff for all her help in caring for Johnny and to his caregiver, Lois Hylton.
