Jo Ann Lester

Jo Ann Lester, 71, of Crab Orchard, died July 26. Born August 24, 1944 in Pineville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Marie Smallwood Miller. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Shrewsbury.
Jo Ann was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo, gardening and flowers and loved all children.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Wayne Lester; son, Kevin and his wife Melinda of Ghent, WV; brothers, Darrel Miller and wife Kathy of Atlanta, GA, Shirley Miller of Fayette Co. and Howard Miller and wife Jean of Lookout, WV; sister, Rebecca Miller of Beckley, niece, Jamie Miller Vass and a very special niece, Ariel Long of Beckley.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Lester officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
