Jessie Alexander Terry, 35, of Beckley, died Thursday, December 4, 2008 in a Charleston hospital following a life long illness. Born May 12, 1973 in Beckley he was the son of Patricia Radford of Beckley. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Rosa Terry and a grandfather, Ulysses Houston. Jessie was a 1991 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School where prior to his illness he was a member of the basketball team. He was also a 2006 graduate of the Pharmacy Tech program at ACT. Upon graduation Jessie was employed by Rite Aid Pharmacy on Johnstown Rd. Jessie loved to watch wrestling and basketball games. He enjoyed listening to music and playing cards. He loved to take pictures of his children, dog and cat. Jessie loved to ride roller coasters and relax in the lazy lagoon with Kelly and his girls. He loved his girls and would want them to always remember the happy times.
Those left to cherish Jessie’s life and memory in addition to his mother are his fianc, Kelly Jo Radford, daughters; Jessica Alexandra Terry and Kelsey Leighann Terry, uncles; Jerry and Henery Terry all of Beckley and his grandmother, Delois Coleman of Chicago, IL.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Welcome Baptist Church, 206 Eighth St., Beckley with Rev. David Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to service.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
