Janet Sue Green

Janet Sue Green, 70, of Rupert, passed away on Monday, January 14 in Fairlea. Born April 15, 1942 at Epperly Hill, WV, she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Edna Miller Wall. Janet was a homemaker. She loved going to church, spending time with her church family, music and singing in church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Wall and a sister Mary Hite.
Janet is survived by her husband, Reed MacArthur Green, Sr.; sons, Reed Green, Jr. and his wife Tammie of Beckley, Elbert Green of Bolt, WV, Steven Green and wife Dawn of Winchester, VA, Michael Green and wife Angie of Crab Orchard; grandchildren, David, Brandon, Jacob, Michael, Jr., Tyler, and Raina; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Olivia and Josiah; brothers, Larry Wall and wife Judy of Beckley, David Wall and wife Deborah of Davis Creek; sisters, Linda Austin and husband Jim of Mead, WV, Julie Bowens and husband Jackie of Helen; special sister and brother in law, Ann and Billy Joe Farruggia as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Hibby Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
