James Edward Lambert

James Edward Lambert, 76, of Beckley, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020.
Born February 24, 1943 in Maben, WV, he was the son of the late Edward Samuel and Alberta Fraley Lambert.
James was a self-employed food concessionaire. He always wanted to be remembered as the Cotton Candy Man that brought cotton candy trucks to West Virginia in the 70’s that brought smiles to thousands of children’s faces. He was a member of Lester Baptist church. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Anna Marie lambert; son, James Patrick Lambert; sister, Virgie Settle and great-grandson, Aiden James Richards.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Jean Hendricks Lambert; daughter, Kristine lambert; sons, Roy Lambert and Travis Miller; granddaughter, Cassandra Lambert; great-granddaughter, Lillia Ingram; sisters, Edith Surratt, Anna Mae Harrah, Rebecca Aliff and brothers, Harless lambert and Troy Lambert.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no service or visitation.
