Henry L. Stump, Jr.

Henry L. Stump, Jr., 85, of Beckley, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in a Beckley hospital following a short illness. Born August 22, 1925 in Fitzpatrick WV, he was the son of the late Henry Lee Stump, Sr. and Mary Stump. He was retired from the US Postal Service where he worked as a clerk. He served in the military and lived in Beckley many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dolly Lee Edwards, and is survived by a son Michael Stump of Beckley and two brothers Kenneth W. Stump of Illinois and Randal A. Stump of Mt. Hope.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday March 30, 2011 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Vondie Cook, Jr. officiating. There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands 106 First Ave. Beckley, WV 25801.
