Harry L. Snodgrass

Harry Lee Snodgrass, 69, of Arnett, WV, passed away January 4, 2011 at Raleigh General Hospital. Born December 10, 1941, in Arnett, he was the son of Jessie James and Nellie Wills Snodgrass. Harry was a retired coal miner/electrician for Peabody Coal Company.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Icie Mae (Clay) Snodgrass; two daughters, Jennifer and fianc William Pannell II of Fairdale, WV, Alicia Snodgrass and companion Shane McGinnis of Arnett; one son, Harry Lee Snodgrass II and wife Teresa of Angier, NC; six grandchildren, Amity, Morgan, Lauryn, Kali, Kendall, Braydon; two brothers, Kenneth Snodgrass and Phillip Snodgrass, and one sister, Patty Mamola, all of Arnett; and numerous other family.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 8, 2011, at the Arnett Chapel Community Church, 4472 Coal River Road, Arnett, with Pastor Larry Kinder officiating. Burial will follow in Wills Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the church.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
