Grayson Meadows

Grayson Meadows, 88, of Shady Spring, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Born on May 16, 1925, he was the son of the late Grace Reed Meadows and Lacy E. Meadows.
He was preceded in death by a son, James D. Meadows; three brothers, Kenneth, Leonard and Lacy (Junior) Meadows and two sisters, Phyllis Meadows Banta and Lorine Meadows Jones.
Grayson leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of almost 61 years, Dedee Marslender Meadows; daughter, Dedra (Mark) Miller; grandchildren, Christina Meadows, Rob (Holly) Meadows, Jack Meadows, Emily Meadows, Delaney Miller, Presley Miller and great granddaughter, Aubree Meadows.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no service and he is to be cremated.
Friends and family are asked to not bring food or flowers but instead make donations in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
