George Gail webb

George Gail Webb, 62, of Beckley, passed away at the Beckley Veterans Area Medical Center, Thursday, March 3, 2011. Born November 20, 1948 in Charleston, WV, he was the son of the late Virgil George and Doris Holmes Webb. George was retired from the U.S. Navy serving 13 years including two tours in Vietnam. He was a former member of Beckley Masonic Lodge #95 and the Beckley Shrine Club. He had been a resident of Beckley for the past 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Martha L. Isaacs Webb, step-son, Lane Jones and wife Threse and step-grandsons, Casey and Alex Jones all of Cherryville, NC, step-grandson, Brandon Bare of Fleetwood, NC, daughters of the heart, Kathy Pennell and husband Rick of Fleetwood, NC and Elaine Hatfield of Beckley and numerous special friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wayne Nutter officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetry at Rock Creek. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the WV Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America, 336 Campbells Creek Dr, Charleston, WV 25306.
