Everette Matthew Acord

Everette Matthew (Matt) Acord, age 61 of Slab Fork, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was born to the late Evert and Geneva Acord of Slap Fork on March 26, 1960. He served in the United States Army as a member of the Airborne. He worked as a caregiver. Matt was preceded in death by a sister Kathy Acord and a great nephew Gary Scott Rice.
Matt is survived by his loving sisters, Debbie and Danny Jones of Slab Fork, Connie and Gary Rice of Salisbury NC, Judy and Kevin Bolen of Crab Orchard; nephews and nieces, Lora and Cindy Rice of NC, Cimberly Rice and Tammy Brown of NC, Amanda and Joe Randall of Shady Spring,
Dustin and Jessica Jones of Glen White, Cindy Bolen of Crab Orchard; great nephews and nieces:
Joesph Rice, Skyler Jones, Wesley Jones and Imowynn Randall.
