Donnie Mae Daniel Clay

Donnie Mae Daniel Clay,78, of Beckley, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012. Born August 13, 1934 at Sandlick, WV, she was the daughter of the late Wilford and Clarcie Smith Daniel. Donnie was a retired Postmaster at Glen Daniel, WV. She was member of the Mount Calvary Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Wilford Daniel, Jr., William Ray Daniel and sisters, Betty Jean McGinnis and Gladys Daniel.
She is survived by her husband Calfee M. Clay; daughters, Marsha Archie and husband Steven of Harper, Sharon Adams and husband Larry of Glen Daniel; sons, Eugene Clay and wife Sandy of Dameron, WV, Gregory Clay and wife Melissa of Beckley and Brian Clay of Beckley; grandchildren, Bradley, Blake, Nicholas and Morgan Clay; sisters, Virginia Stewart of Fairdale and Margie Phipps of Ohio; brothers, James Daniel and Bobby Daniel of Sandlick.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2012 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wayne Nutter officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
