Donald Lee Woods, 86, of Beckley passed away Friday, January 29, 2016. Born July 31, 1929 in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late James Monroe and Elsie Gaye Woolwine Woods.
Donald was a former Assistant Manager for Acme Market in Beckley. He was a member of the Calloway Heights Baptist Church and loved gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Shrader Woods; daughters, Deborah Scurlock and husband Delbert of Beckley, WV, Vicki Lickliter and husband Randy of Beckley, WV; grandchildren, Don Scurlock and his wife Angela, Danny Scurlock, Darin Scurlock and his wife Mary, Jackie Lickliter, Beth Lickliter, Mary Ridenour and husband Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Hannah Scurlock, Kaitlyn Scurlock, Andrew Scurlock, Eli Scurlock and Sadie Scurlock.
Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2016 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Horton and Pastor Bill Parker officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
