Doff D. Daniel, Jr.

Dr. Daniel obtained both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Virginia. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country in the Air Force as a physician with the rank of captain. While attending the University of Virginia he met the late Joan Crawford Daniel to whom he was married for 40 years until her death in 1987. Dr. Daniel was a specialist in internal medicine who practiced in Beckley until shortly before his death.

Dr. Daniel touched many lives during his years of dedicated medical service. He will be greatly missed by his patients, colleagues, friends and family. Those wishing to honor Dr. Daniel's memory and his work are requested by the family to make a contribution to a community or medical charity in lieu of flowers.
