Delano Ray Pack

Delano Ray Pack, 73, of Beckley, died Saturday, August 16, at Bowers Hospice House following a short illness. Born June 14, 1935 at Streeter, WV, he was the son of the late Ester and Ora Belle Cooper Pack. He was a retired foreman for the WV Department of Highways, a member of the West Raleigh Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Gary Pack.

Survivors include his wife of eleven years, Eileen Ransom Pack.

Charlotte Carrow and husband Gary of Litchfield, OH
Brothers: Phillip “Kenny” Pack and wife Judy of Carslile, KY
Stanley Pack and wife Sherrilyn of Milton, TN
11 step grandchildren and 37 nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2008 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cleve Allen and Rev. Delmas Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the John Pack – William Vest Cemetery at Streeter, WV. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. Monday.
Pallbearers will be Jack Jones, Arlie Farmer, Shawn Sheehan, Tim Black, Robby Pack and Ashley Pack.
