David Ray Thompson

Born August 19, 1937 at Piney View, he was the son of the late Elgie S. and Margaret Cales Thompson, Sr. He was a retired coal miner have last worked for Beckley Coal Mining. David was a member of the Church of Christ at Piney View and the UMWA. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Elgie Thompson, Jr. and a sister, Alma Ruth Sampson.
