David Allen Daniel

David Allen Daniel, 57, of Glen Daniel, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital. Born January 22, 1955 in Saxon, WV, he was the son of the late Winford and Anna Belle Moore Daniel.
David was a former coal miner having worked for Kopperston Coal. He was an avid gardener and outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Kenny and Billy Joe Daniel.
He is survived by daughters, Billie Clay of Dameron and Jamie Cox and husband David of Machias, NY; grandchildren, Ahsten Clay, Hunter Clay, Gavin Haynes, Trevor Haynes and Benjamin Cox; sisters, Phyllis Daniel, Michelle Hylton and Theresa Daniel.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the Flat Branch Baptist Church with Pastor Gene Miller officiating. There will be no visitation.
