Dave C. Dickens of Beckley WV formally of Naoma WV went home to be with the Lord December 7, 2013.
He was born February 26, 1926 in Montcoal WV to the late Briston and Sarah Pettry Dickens.
Dave was a World War II veteran with the US Army. He was retired from the VA Hospital.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church Beckley WV.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Ivory Mae.
Dave is survived by numerous relatives.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday, December 11, at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum B with Laura Fygetakes officiating. Friends may call 1 hour prior to service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 217 S. Heber St., Beckley WV25801
