Cynthia Gale Bolen

Cynthia Gale Hutchens Bolen, 62, of Beckley passed away on May 27, 2014 following a long illness. Born March 20, 1952 at Mabscott, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ira Oscar and Edith Ellen Sears Hutchens.
Cynthia was a 1970 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. secretary for the former WV Explosives and she also worked as a sales clerk for several local businesses. She was a member of the Church of God, faithfully attending until her health declined. She was a member of the ladies ministry and Soul Winners Sunday school class and participated in other church activities Cynthia loved all babies and small children. She was a very generous person who always had a smile. She enjoyed time with family and friends and she will be greatly missed.
Cynthia is survived by her sister, Phyllis Graham (her sissy) and husband Dennis of Beckley; son, Charles Paul Bolen and wife Crystal; granddaughter, Alexis Grace Bolen and a soon expected grandson all of S. Charleston; niece, Amber Lynn Graham Pugh and husband Sammy,; great-nephew, Cass Pugh, great-niece, Laurel Pugh all of Beaver; special friend, Jeremy Price of Beckley as well as a host of friends.
The family would like to thank BARH ICU unit and nurses, special thanks to ICU nurse Heather and Dr. Katiny for their compassion and care of Cynthia.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Calfee Cemetery in Mt. Tabor with Pastor Jim Farnsworth officiating. There will be no visitation.
