Connie Sue Hubbard, 57, of Beckley, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 in a Charleston hospital following a long illness. Born April 26, 1953 in Ohio, she was the daughter of Ada Ashby Shamblin and the late Virgil Shamblin. Survivors include her son, Brian Hubbard and wife Leslie of Crab Orchard, daughter, Sarah Hubbard-Wallace and husband Larry of Beckley, sisters; Drema McNeely and husband Gary of Logan, WV and Kathy Hill and husband Phil of Mooresville, NC, brother, Jesse Shamblin and wife Sandy of Peytona, WV, nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at the Hilltop Baptist Church with Pastor Patrick Haynes officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 p.m. until service time on Tuesday at the church. Refreshments will be served following the service.
