Clarence Sydney Tom Glover

Clarence Sydney “Tom” Glover, Jr., 83 of Beckley passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016.
Born June 18, 1933 in Warm Springs, VA, he was the son of the late Clarence Sydney and Mildred Sherman Glover, Sr.
Tom graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and attended Virginia Tech and WV Tech where he majored in Mechanical Engineering. After his career retirement, Tom worked at Lowes of Beckley for 15 years. He served for many years as a football and basketball official in the southern WV area.
Tom served four years in the US. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Newport News.
He is survived by his wife, Parthenia Glover; step daughter, Susan Sullivan of Huntington, WV and Sally Leeber and husband Robert of Talcott, WV; grandchildren, Ashley Williams and husband David, Andrew Sullivan and Jenn Neff, Cliff Sullivan and wife Becky, Adam Sotak and wife Tara; 6 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Monday, November 21, 2016 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Lester officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
