Charles Albert Minnick, Sr.

Charles Albert Minnick, Sr., 87, of Beaver, passed on Tuesday, June 08, 2010 at home surrounded by family. Born April 4, 1923 in Wilkinsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Harry Linford Minnick and Mary Teed Minnick. He was of the Methodist faith, and member of the Masons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Shawl.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Louise Teats Minnick, one daughter, Millie and her husband Daniel Shawl of Beckley, one son, Charles A. Minnick, Jr., of Franklin, PA., and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
Charles was retired Draftsman and Mechanic having worked with Energy Machinery; and last working with Chicago Pneumatic Tool Company.
Following his wishes he will be cremated. There will be no service or visitation.
At the family’s request, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Hospice of Southern West Virginia, Post Office Box 1472, Beckley, WV 25802-1472.
